Many evolutionists believe that birds evolved from dinosaurs. Actually, it is even popular today to say that dinosaurs never went extinct—that they are feeding in your backyard! But when we start with God’s Word, we know this is nothing but imagination. Genesis tells us that God created everything to reproduce “according to their kind.” So one kind of animal will never turn into another kind. And, of course, this is what we observe.

In fact, birds were created before dinosaurs. On Day Five, God made all the flying creatures—including birds. And on Day Six He made all the land animals—including dinosaurs. So birds did not evolve from dinosaurs. They were specially created by God.
