Transcript

Many Christians believe that because Scripture doesn’t say anything about the age of the earth, it could be millions of years old. Now, Scripture doesn’t give us an exact age . . . or it would be outdated every year! But it does make it clear earth isn’t millions of years old.

Genesis 1 tells us God created everything in six days. Now some people try to squeeze millions of years into these days. But the context shows the days were ordinary 24-hour days.

In the Old Testament, whenever “day” is used with “evening,” “morning,” or a number, it always means an ordinary day. And guess what? Genesis uses all of these!

You simply can’t fit millions of years into Genesis 1. God created in six days.
