This is Ken Ham, and I’m inviting your whole family to visit the Ark Encounter attraction.

Transcript

Our most important organ while we are growing in our mother’s womb is one that is quickly thrown away—the placenta. When an egg is fertilized, it divides; one cell will develop into the baby, the other will become the placenta.

The placenta immediately begins producing hormones to ensure that it can implant in the uterus—so the baby can grow. Now once implanted, it will serve as a filter—allowing important nutrients, gases, and hormones to pass from the mother’s blood to the baby’s blood without the two ever touching. The placenta also serves as the baby’s lungs, kidneys, liver, digestive system, and immune system!

Wow! This shows God’s handiwork.
