It is popular today to think all religions are just different paths on the same journey. But Scripture claims no one can be saved apart from Jesus—and that God alone is the only true God. Many people claim to believe in—and even serve God, so how do we tell truth from error?
Well, the book of First John tells us. John writes that no one who denies Jesus has the Father. So when you are speaking with someone who claims to know God, ask them who they say Jesus is. If they deny that Jesus is the Savior of the world, then they aren’t following the one true God.
It isn’t enough to believe in God—we must trust in Jesus.
