This is Ken Ham, a contributor to the family friendly Answers magazine.
Because we come from different starting points, creationists and evolutionists often disagree on how to interpret the evidence. But there are some things we can actually agree on.
We observe organisms’ ability to change and adapt. Darwin’s famous example of this idea, called natural selection, was finches with different-sized beaks.
Now, we agree natural selection happens. But we don’t agree on what it can really do. Evolutionists believe with enough time it can turn one kind of organism into another. But we believe God created each kind with an incredible amount of variety in its DNA, so creatures could multiply and fill after their own kind.
