As Christians, it is easy to forget who we were before Christ saved us. You know, sometimes we look down in judgment on those who are still without Christ.
But we can’t expect those who don’t know Christ to think and act like Christians! After all, they love darkness and sin—not Christ.
The Apostle Paul reminds us of this in one of his letters. He says the unrighteous won’t inherit God’s kingdom and in his list includes such sins as coveting, drunkenness, and homosexual behavior. And he reminds his readers “such were some of you.”
When reaching others with the gospel, we need to remember that we were once separated from God and filled with sin, but Christ saved us.
