Transcript

Did God create lions, tigers, and leopards in the beginning? Well, Genesis tells us that He created everything to reproduce “according to its kind.”

Now, Creation scientists have researched what “kind” means, and it usually refers to the “family” level of classification. So God originally created a “cat” kind—not different species, like lions and tigers.

God designed each kind with incredible genetic variability. Now, this allows them to adapt to different environments, like the jungle or the savannah. If they couldn’t do this, the kind would quickly go extinct in a fallen, changing world.

But this isn’t evolution—cats stay, well, cats.
