Research for our new book on young adults in the church showed that they don’t know how to think biblically on social issues. God’s Word isn’t the foundation for their thinking. Instead, many in their 20s have been so influenced by the culture, they think just like the world.
Of the 20-somethings in our churches, one-third think abortion should be legal in most instances. That is one in three of the future leaders and parents in the church!
As churches and parents, we can’t just assume they understand that abortion is wrong. They have a whole culture telling them it is okay! We need to be diligent in using God’s Word and talking to our kids about the sanctity of all human life.
