LGBT and Pregnant “Man” Flashcards Used to Teach Preschoolers Their Colors

The cover for the LGBT-themed flash cards featured the updated rainbow flag (the flag that includes white, blue, pink, brown, and black) and a description of what each color supposedly stands for. For example, red is “life,” purple is “spirit,” pink is “transgender woman,” and brown is “inclusivity.” Within the cards themselves, the card for “white” depicts a man and woman—and the “man” is pregnant!

A parent alerted NC Republican State Rep. Erin Paré to the use of the cards. She then contacted the school and the principal now reportedly has possession of the cards. Paré said, “Schools should only be using age-appropriate materials, and these flashcards clearly do not meet that standard for a pre-school classroom.” Besides, a man cannot get pregnant! To claim such is anti-science as well as anti-biblical.

But is that really what should be said about such cards? Shouldn’t we be saying, “These flashcards are unspeakably ludicrous, ignorant, wicked, evil, degenerate, and depraved”? Of course, that only works within a Christian worldview. Within a secular worldview, anything goes when depraved man is his own authority.

In those days there was no king [no absolute authority] in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes. (Judges 21:25)

We must lay the foundation for a biblical worldview of sexuality and gender from a very young age so they can stand against the onslaught of sexual immorality being celebrated as good.

It seems there’s hardly an hour in a day when there’s not a new example of attempted LGBTQ indoctrination of young children brought into the light. Parents—be on your guard! Know this is happening in the classroom, in libraries, online, through the media and streaming platforms—it’s everywhere! If you want to protect your children, it’s not enough to attempt to shield them. We must lay the foundation for a biblical worldview of sexuality and gender from a very young age so they can stand against the onslaught of sexual immorality being celebrated as good.

I share accounts like this one on my blog and on my social media pages because I want to alert parents to the intense and nearly overwhelming indoctrination of children in this fallen world we live in. I pray these reminders will help parents to continue to fight for the sake of both their children and other precious young lives!
