At the end of the year, many streaming companies announce what shows have been most popular on their platforms, and social media users post their top listens on music-streaming sites. So, I thought it would be fun to announce which shows have been most popular on our God-honoring streaming platform, Answers TV. So, without further ado, here are the top five series and top five standalone programs that subscribers have been enjoying this past year.

Top Five Series—Is Your Favorite on the List?

#5: The Wild Brothers. This reality show follows the adventures of the four Wild (yes, that’s their real name) brothers, missionary kids growing up in the jungles of Southeast Asia. Children love the crazy adventures, exotic wildlife, and biblical insights the Wild brothers share.

#4: 2022 calendar videos. Our popular calendars now feature QR codes each month that take you to a unique video, with teaching on that month’s topic. Children love turning the calendar page each month to see what the new video will be.

#3: Sea Kids. This animated show (based on a popular book series and not produced by AiG) features a group of sea creature friends navigating real world situations by praying and applying biblical principles and wisdom. A sample episode is included free with an Answers TV subscription, and the rest of the season is available to rent through Answers TV.

#2: Hike & Seek. In this nature documentary show, wildlife filmmaker Peter Schriemer is on an exploration of God’s world. He meets creatures you’d find in your backyard as well as in more “far-flung” places as he hikes and seeks what God has made. It’s great to see a wildlife show that doesn’t talk about nature through the lens of evolution! This is a wonderful creationist nature program for the whole family.

And the number-one most-viewed series on Answers TV for 2022 was *drumroll*:

#1: Schus Off! An Exploration in God’s Creation. Our most popular series on Answers TV in 2022 was Schus Off!, a creation adventure program featuring the Schu family (AiG’s Avery Foley, her husband, and their children). Kids love the Schus’ goofy antics, the amazing “creature friends” they meet, and learning about creation from the right foundation—God’s Word.

Families love the Christ-centered, creation-and-biblical-worldview-focused programming.

As you can see from the top five, our children’s programs (and our calendar videos, which kids love!) were the most popular series this year because families love the Christ-centered, creation-and-biblical-worldview-focused programming. They’re thrilled they can turn on a show for their children to enjoy and not have to worry that LGBT, CRT, evolution, or other antibiblical ideas will be hinted at, or explicitly taught, in the program. Instead, they know their kids are being built up in their love for Christ and knowledge of his Word.

Top Five Standalone Programs—Kids, Dinosaurs, and the Attractions

So those were our most popular series programs (and those are just a few of the series we have!). Now, what about standalone, single-episode programs? Here are the top five.

#5: New Beginning. This stirring historical drama we produced to show in the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter looks at the biblical account of Noah’s flood from the viewpoint of Shem’s wife. It’s a unique perspective that really helps bring the account to life.

#4: Visit the Greenhouses of the Ark Encounter with Ken Ham. This behind-the-scenes tour showcases our phenomenal greenhouses at the Ark Encounter. Answers TV viewers are fascinated by what our grounds team grows to plant around the Ark grounds and to feed the zoo animals—and how they grow it.

#3: Was There Really a Land Before Time? Dinosaur books and shows usually depict a lush, exotic world with exotic plants, strange creatures flying in the sky, no mammals or birds, and volcanos erupting in the background. But was there really such a “land before time”? AiG’s Calvin Smith gives a biblical perspective on the past world in this engaging twenty-minute video.

#2: Buddy Davis’ programs such as Safari!, The Animal Kinds, and A Jurassic Ark Mystery. Unsurprisingly, several of everyone’s favorite adventurer, song writer, and dinosaur sculptor’s programs were up there among the most popular. Kids love his adventures, his songs, and the fun creatures he meets along the way.

And now . . . the number-one most-viewed standalone program is . . .

#1: Journey Through the Creation Museum and Journey Through the Ark Encounter. These two programs take viewers on a journey through both of our attractions, sharing behind-the-scenes information. It’s a great way to “visit” if you aren’t able to make the trip to Northern Kentucky right now.

The top five programs show that people are fascinated with dinosaurs, want to learn more about our attractions, and love programs for children. We’re excited we can offer these resources to families all around the world through our streaming platform.

Don’t miss these programs and so many others! Start the new year with a subscription to Answers TV and enjoy over 5,000 videos (a number that continues to grow) with content for the whole family. A subscription is only $4.99 a month or $39.99 for a whole year. Try a free seven-day trial at Answers.tv.
