Such a question would have been ridiculous even just a few years ago—no one would think to ask it because, of course, men are not designed to breastfeed infants. But because of the influence of the transgender movement, “breastfeeding” has been replaced in some contexts with “chestfeeding” and “breastfeeding mother” with “lactating parent,” as some people claim that, yes, men can nurse babies.
But can they?
I recently looked into the science behind inducing lactation in males and what is actually produced from the cocktail of chemicals given to the man—then I contrasted that with the incredible design in breast milk that God designed women to produce. You can watch that video here:
In short, no, men cannot breastfeed—if they take the right medications, they can induce a secretion that bears some surface resemblance to breast milk but is not breast milk. Breast milk is an incredibly complex food created as a mother and baby interact with each other, and men cannot replicate this—nor should they try!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
