It’s time to mark your calendar with the dates for Christmas at the Creation Museum and Christmas at the Ark Encounter, our annual Christmas events. Each attraction offers a different experience, so you’ll want to make sure to visit both!
Our Christmas events are taking place Thursday–Saturday, November 27, 2026–January 2, 2027—with a few exceptions: We’re closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve; however, the event open dates are expanded the weeks of Christmas and New Year to also include Tuesday–Wednesday (December 22, 23, 29, and 30) so you still have plenty of opportunity to visit during those weeks. See calendar below:
If you’ve never been to the Ark or Creation Museum at Christmas, I encourage you to make plans to attend—it’s a totally different experience. Many guests plan to visit the attractions throughout the day and then stay for a delicious dinner before experiencing Christmas in the evenings.
So what can you expect? Well, for only the cost of parking, come to the Creation Museum to enjoy:
And, for only the cost of parking, visit the Ark Encounter to experience:
We hope to see you there!
And, with Christmas coming quickly, if your church, homeschool co-op, or Christian school is looking for a unique, gospel-centered Christmas play to perform, I encourage you to check out the Christmas play scripts we offer, written by the staff at our Christian school, Answers Academy.
They are very different from a lot of plays used at Christmas. Each play focuses on a different character from the Christmas account, connects the Old Testament with the New Testament, teaches apologetics, and powerfully connects Christ’s birth as the babe in the manger to His death and resurrection.
This year’s new play is The Zealot’s Fight: Christmas Through the Eyes of a Rebel. This play answers the question, “Why did the Messiah really come?”
Step back into the world of first-century Judea, where Roman oppression looms heavy, and one young Zealot struggles with anger, vengeance, and the longing for freedom. The Zealot’s Fight is a powerful original drama that celebrates the babe in the manger whose mission was not to claim a throne of power, but to conquer and free us from the bondage of sin, giving us new life in Christ!
You can find all of Answers Academy’s plays—along with unique Christmas gifts—at AnswersBookstore.com.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
