Every year our K–12th grade, parent-partnership, biblical-worldview Christian school, Answers Academy, puts on a high-quality Christmas play in front of hundreds of people in the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter.

This play is not your run-of-the-mill Christmas pageant—it’s an apologetics-filled, biblical-worldview, gospel-centered Christmas program.

Written by our Answers Academy staff members, each year’s play focuses on a different person or theme connected with the Christmas account. And then we make these scripts available to you and your church, school, or co-op!

The script we’re releasing this year, The Zealot’s Fight, focuses on a fictional character but addresses real issues at the time of Christ’s birth: how the Jewish people should react to the oppression of the Romans and what the Messiah would really come to do. It connects Old Testament prophecies with the birth, life, and death of Christ and highlights that Jesus didn’t come focused on throwing off human oppression and correcting every injustice—rather He came to save His people from their sins (and someday, in the new heavens and new earth, all oppression and injustice will be done away with forever).
