New Year, New Devotional?

It’s hard to believe that we’re halfway through the month of December—January is almost here and with it a brand-new year: 2026. And as we think about the coming new year, many Christians are looking for a new daily devotional to add to their time in the Word and in prayer. There are many such devotionals available (some good—some not so good!), but I wanted to offer something different, very unique, and designed for families. So I put together a book with 365 readings—Ken Ham Daily. A very different but powerful daily devotional–type book.

So how long did it take me to write a daily devotional book with over 700 pages? Well, I always answer that question by saying, “50 years!” I took 50 years’ worth of articles I had written, then revised and updated them to make them suitable for a book of daily readings for families.

Now, this resource is truly unique, addressing the cultural and spiritual issues of our time and combining apologetics with teaching on a biblical worldview and sound doctrine. It’s like taking the major points from all my talks and books and summarizing them in 365 daily readings. Each reading equips Christians to defend the faith, be effective witnesses in an increasingly anti-Christian culture, and understand Genesis 1–11 as the foundation for everything.

Each reading offers a wonderful opportunity for fathers to take the lead in disciplining themselves to guide their families in daily teaching.

While many people use daily devotionals in their private Bible study, I would also love to see this resource used in school classrooms, Sunday school or Bible classes, and more. My ultimate hope, however, is that it will be used for family devotions. Each reading offers a wonderful opportunity for fathers to take the lead in disciplining themselves to guide their families in daily teaching. It’s like delivering a mini sermon each day, with all the preparation already done for you.

I pray this resource will be a blessing to you and your family. You can find Ken Ham Daily at AnswersBookstore.com.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
