Sometimes it feels like we’re no longer living in the America we once knew. I was reminded of this when I recently watched a conference featuring the Democratic Socialists of America (the New York City mayor-elect belongs to this group)—a group that wants to abolish the nuclear family, among other things!
These kinds of radicals, who are sadly seemingly becoming more mainstream across the nation, remind us that the ultimate answer to America’s problems isn’t political—it’s spiritual. Since the problem is ultimately spiritual, the solution is ultimately spiritual. The answer is God’s Word and the gospel! You can watch my full reaction to what happened at this conference in the video below.
We need more Christians with a biblical worldview involved in the workings of this nation!
But that doesn’t mean politics don’t matter. We need more Christians with a biblical worldview involved in the workings of this nation! The decisions that are made in government, from local to state to federal level, matter because the people they impact matter. And without the foundation of God’s Word and the principles derived from Scripture, the decisions the government makes will not be godly and therefore will not lead to human flourishing. If only those with a secular worldview are in government, then they will mostly vote against Christian morality, etc.
So why do I bring this up on a day like Veterans Day? Because we’re thankful for those who serve and have served our nation, sacrificing so we can enjoy freedom, including the freedom of Christians to be involved in the decisions made in this nation and the freedom to share the gospel and biblical truth that is so desperately needed.
From us at Answers in Genesis, thank you for your service!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
