Bible Sales, “Religion” App Downloads, and Christian Music Streams Skyrocketing

Recently, one of our staff members sent me a screenshot from the Fox News Channel Facebook page that said, “Christian Revival Across the U.S.” As you can see in the photo below, they highlighted a trend we’ve seen growing for a while now—Bible sales and interest in “religion” is growing across the US. (By the way, everyone has a religion—there is no such thing as a non-religious position).

According to the post:

• Annual Bible sales are up 41.6% since 2022.
• “Religion & spirituality app” (whatever that means!) downloads are up nearly 80% since 2019.
• And Spotify streams of “contemporary Christian music” are up 50% since 2019.

We pray that the Lord will use this interest for his glory and to save souls for eternity.

Now, are we in a revival here in the US? Only time will tell what the Lord is doing, but it’s encouraging to see Bible sales jumping up by such large numbers! There’s an increasing interest in Christianity, or at least in spirituality. We pray that the Lord will use this interest for his glory and to save souls for eternity. After all, “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17 WEB).

We’re certainly doing everything we can here at Answers in Genesis at “such a time as this” to spread the message of the truth of God’s Word and the gospel—the most vital message for everyone to hear.
