World-Class Narnia Production Coming to the Ark

Well before I was born, C. S. Lewis was writing his well-known book The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and it was published in 1950, the year before I was born. This was the first book in what became known as The Chronicles of Narnia.

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is considered the best-selling children’s book of all time. Some sources claim around 100 million copies of this book have sold worldwide, and it has been translated into 47 different languages!

Now, The Pilgrim’s Progress (a powerful allegory on the Christian journey, which wasn’t originally published as a children’s book) has sold 250 million copies since it was published in 1678. It’s considered second to the Bible in worldwide sales. (I wish our AiG books could sell like these around the world!) But the most important book of all, the Bible, has outsold them all.

It is, of course, the best-selling book ever, and it’s estimated that 5–7 billion copies have sold worldwide. Now that should excite us!

You may remember that in January 2025, Logos Theatre presented their outstanding world-class stage production of The Pilgrim’s Progress at the Ark Encounter’s Answers Center, and it received rave reviews. Logos Theatre is run by a Christian group, and they state about themselves:
