Did Ken Ham Save Someone’s Life?

Before I got up to speak at the final Sunday morning service at the church, Wade Davis, a pastor from another church in the area, came up to speak to me. He had come to hear my talk because AiG has been such an influence on him personally and on his pastoral ministry. He asked me if I would sign his Bible, which I did.

A few minutes later, as the service was starting, Pastor Davis collapsed in cardiac arrest. Two nurses in the congregation came to his aid, started CPR, and utilized an AED device before the ambulance arrived. Praise the Lord, they were able to restore his heartbeat, and he survived. His wife later shared with me that had Pastor Davis not come to see me speak at the church that morning, he probably would not have survived because it would have happened at home with no help!

So now Joe tells me that not only did I give the pastor a heart attack, but I can also claim that I was responsible for saving his life!

Pastor Davis told me that after his recovery, he wanted to come see the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Well, that happened recently, and I was even able to interview him with his two sons in our studio about what happened that morning and about the impact of the AiG ministry. We’re thankful the Lord spared Pastor Davis’ life, and we are also grateful for the impact the AiG ministry is having on pastors, churches, Christians, and even unbelievers.
