Ministry Update: Connecting Local Pastors with AiG

As part of Answers in Genesis’ goal to develop relationships with local area pastors, those within 100 miles of the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum were recently invited to a brunch at the Ark (this is our second year hosting this special event).

Over 400 churches were represented as hundreds of pastors and some of their wives joined us in our Answers Center to hear from myself and Renee Hodge (administrator of our Christian school, Answers Academy). Our resident artists, TrueSong, also gave a short concert. A number of sponsors provided some free gifts for each pastor present.

We pray this has a big impact on local churches, engaging them with our ministry and our attractions.

Yes, we are doing all we can to reach various demographics in our community, our nation, and around the world with the message of biblical authority and the truth of God’s Word. Some of our upcoming outreaches include:

• Día Latino, October 17–18, 2025. This Spanish-language conference features Spanish signage throughout the attractions, conference sessions either in Spanish or translated into Spanish, and times of worship.
• Our first-ever Mundo Português, October 10–11, 2025. This Portuguese-language event features teaching sessions in Portuguese (or translated) and translated signage throughout the attractions. Yes, we want to reach Latin America with the message of biblical authority! We’ve found that those nations are so hungry for such Bible and apologetics teaching.
• Deaf Days, April 17–18, 2026. During this event, Deaf guests enjoy teaching sessions with Deaf presenters and leaders, Deaf-led worship, ASL interpretation at the Ark and museum, special programs for Deaf-Blind guests, and so much more.

And, of course, we also have our pastors conference (different from this brunch event), men’s conference, women’s conference, homeschool experience, VBS showcase, home educators conference (a one-day event in the UK!), Christian school educators conference, Spark at the Ark for Christian creatives, and the 40 Days of Christian Music Festival (happening now through September 6). Whew—there’s certainly lots going on around here!
