What Is God Doing at AiG?

June this year was historic for AiG. Wait until you hear what we’ve done to reach even more people with God’s Word and the gospel! And our nation and the church sure need this, as I explain in this letter.

Let me share with you three historic events that happened in June 2025:

1. Miraculous! It’s finished and published!

At my meet and greets, after I give a presentation at the Ark and Creation Museum, many people ask in an awestruck way, “How did all this [the attractions] happen?” They often say that it’s astounding to them that a conservative ministry that is so overt about God’s Word and the gospel would be able to build such world-class attractions. I always tell them, “It’s a God thing!” And that’s true. There is no way, humanly speaking, such facilities could exist if it weren’t for our God of miracles enabling it all to happen.

Many people also ask me for my testimony as they seek to understand the history that motivated me to have the vision for this ministry. Some comment on the Ham Family Legacy exhibit at the Creation Museum and want to know more about the impact of my parents on my life to help mold me for God’s calling into this ministry.

Others ask how we were able to find all the talented people who are part of this ministry. Over the years, secular and Christian media have often asked me the same question. I answer them by saying that just as Noah didn’t have to go out and find the animals for the ark, but God brought them to him, so God brought all these people to the ministry of AiG. Yes, it’s a God thing!

In 2024, we believed it was time for me to write a history of this amazing ministry from when I was born in 1951 up until the present (2025). A number of people contributed to the book, including the other two founders, Mark Looy and Mike Zovath, and, of course, my sweetheart, Mally. This book is really a journey involving numerous battles, miracles, blessings, “light bulb” learning events, what we call “Red Sea moments,” valleys, mountains, steps of faith the world would call foolish, and much more. And there are lots of fascinating personal photographs and copies of early documents, etc., that most people have never seen.

As I wrote this book and read the manuscript a few times, I was reminded over and over again of Hebrews 11:6, “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

As the leader of this amazing ministry, I have always led it as a faith-based ministry with mission first and business second. We do things totally different from the way the world does them. So many Christian organizations have lost their way when they focus on business first rather than mission and faith first. Without faith one cannot please God. That’s why I’ve always pushed the edges of the vision for this ministry. It’s responsible faith, ensuring we do our due diligence, but faith nonetheless—making decisions that secular organizations would think were foolish!

But look what the Lord has accomplished—a ministry impacting tens of millions of lives every year. And our research indicates tens of thousands every year respond to the gospel as a result of the attractions and various aspects of the ministry. WOW. It’s a God thing!

After I read the final manuscript of Miraculous! before it was sent off to the printer, I had one of those emotional moments. I was just awestruck by what God has done. When you look back, you see unique events, people God brought into the ministry for a specific purpose at a specific time, those he brought in for a lifetime commitment, and unique encounters. Even though we didn’t see it at the time, now we see a beautiful pattern, like a beautiful spider web, threading it all together in a miraculous way. It’s a God thing.

2. Legacy Conference

As this year is the 50th anniversary of when I gave my first-ever creation apologetics talk in a church in Dalby, Queensland, Australia, we decided as one way to celebrate, we would conduct a Legacy Conference. At this event, I would give eight of my classic presentations that represent the core messages of this ministry. I spent a lot of time updating and expanding them so they could be videoed for our Answers TV streaming platform.

Then I was reminded we live in a fallen world. When we were two days from the conference, I ended up with some sort of bad cold virus! “Doctor” Mally (my sweet wife) gave me a ton of medicines, most of which I had no idea what they were, as I had to do these talks. I sort of felt like what I’ve heard about the USA postal service deliveries, “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night [nor having a bad cold] stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” So I pushed myself to the edge physically and gave those eight presentations over three days, with seven of them spread between just two days. I was exhausted at the end, but people told me it came across well, even if I had a deep voice for some of the talks! I was asked how I managed to cough but not be heard over the AV system. Well, I’ve had a lot of experience at knowing how to use the mute switch on my mic pack at just the right time so most don’t even know what I’m doing.

3. The Truth Traveler attraction opens in Pigeon Forge.

Many of you know that a Christian businessman (Wes Bowen with Mindscape Creative) challenged us to partner with him to bring world-class attractions to two of the top tourist destinations in the USA: Pigeon Forge, TN, and Branson, MO.

The vision was to take God’s Word and the gospel to these areas through faith-based attractions so we could impact as many people as possible. Visitors from all over the world come to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, and these two new attractions will take the message out to the people visiting these major tourist areas. These two new attractions have the same world-class quality (or better) as Disney and Universal Studios in our opinion.

I was thrilled to travel to Pigeon Forge for the ribboncutting event opening Truth Traveler in mid-June. The Branson venue will open in August.

When guests visit our Pigeon Forge attraction, they’ll get inside a pod to “go back in time” for a journey from Eden to eternity via a customanimated customanimated 5D virtual reality ride, complete with motion benches, haptics (technology that gives you a tactile response), and VR goggles for a full sensory experience. It’s Disney-level quality—but with a biblical message—and families are loving it! Also, many non-Christians will love it just like they do the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum attractions. And they will hear the gospel clearly presented! Now, doing this has been another big step of faith for us, but we believe God has called us to do it.

This attraction also features a Stargazer Planetarium, which uses laser projectors and a large, tilted dome to take guests on a journey deep into the far reaches of the universe. They’ll clearly see God’s incredible handiwork as the heavens declare God’s glory (Psalm 19:1). These are stunning attractions.

The second Truth Traveler attraction was built in the iconic Andy Williams Moon River Theatre in Branson, MO. This attraction also features a 5D VR ride showcasing biblical history from Genesis to Revelation and will be followed by an immersive tailored show featuring the life of Christ in the 1,200-seat theater.

We’re so excited to be expanding into two major tourist towns. Please pray with us that these attractions will reach thousands of families with the message of the truth of God’s Word and the gospel. And we will also promote the Ark and Creation Museum to everyone too.

Here is what a Pigeon Forge city official emailed us (he is Executive Director of the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism):

Congratulations on the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony of the new Truth Traveler attraction on the Parkway yesterday!

As I explained to Mayor Wear, I believe Almighty God’s divine providence led to the Truth Traveler being on the PF Parkway. When I think back to all of the twists and turns that Wes went through in trying to find the right location here in Sevier County, that’s the only explanation that makes sense to me.

And I know with all confidence, that if it was His will for Truth Traveler to be here in PF, that He will also ensure that His Word will be spread to many, who do not know Him, because of this wonderful new attraction!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being responsive to His will in bringing the Truth Traveler to Pigeon Forge!

Wow—what a great endorsement and recognition of what the Lord is doing through this attraction!

Truth Traveler grand opening

The week we opened Truth Traveler in Pigeon Forge, I read the results of research on Protestant church leaders that greatly burdened me. It made me realize how important it is that we reach as many people as we can with the truth of the absolute authority of the Word of God and challenge people to respond to the most vital message in the universe—the saving gospel of Jesus Christ.

According to recent data from the National Survey of Religious Leaders, only 1 in 4 mainline protestant pastors believe in a literal Adam and Eve! But that’s not all, here are some other results of that research on these pastors: Only 45% expressed certainty in their belief about hell; 26% believe in God but have doubts; only 32% “strongly believed in trying to convert others to their faith”; and 70% view the Bible as “inspired but not historically accurate in all parts, with some sections reflecting the cultural norms of the time and therefore no longer applicable today.”

We have major problems in the church! That’s one of the reasons I believe God has raised up Answers in Genesis to take the message of his Word and the gospel to the world—and to the church. And we are doing just that.

Would you encourage us in our recent steps of faith to take God’s Word to these two major tourist areas? I ask that you prayerfully consider sending a generous gift today at AnswersDonate.com.

Your prayers and financial support will be a great blessing and encouragement as we strive to impact more people with the life-changing gospel message. It’s all part of us doing the business of the King till he returns (Luke 19:11–27).

Thank you for standing with us!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
