Don’t forget to vote for us! The Ark Encounter attraction was nominated as one of three finalists in the “best kid-friendly attraction” category for Best in Kentucky, an annual contest run by Kentucky Living. And today’s the last day to vote for us.
If you love the Ark Encounter, be sure to vote before the contest closes tonight. You don’t have to live in Kentucky to vote, and you can vote once a day per email address (the winner will be announced in August). To vote, visit the Kentucky Living website.
We were thankful, but not surprised, to be nominated—after all, the Ark Encounter offers so much for families.
We were thankful, but not surprised, to be nominated—after all, the Ark Encounter offers so much for families. In my earlier blog about the contest nomination, I highlighted just some of what we offer for kids. Well, today I wanted to highlight some of the fun events we have coming up this summer—events the whole family will love.
And we’re not just kid-friendly because there’s so much to do for kids. We’re also kid-friendly because we’re doing all we can to reach the next generation for the Lord Jesus Christ, including by equipping child educators at our upcoming Answers for Educators event, July 21–22.
We’re also kid-friendly because we’re doing all we can to reach the next generation for the Lord Jesus Christ
Generously sponsored by the Herzog Foundation (a wonderful ministry that I encourage you to check out if you are involved with a Christian school), this event will see teachers, educators, and administrators from across the nation gathering for two days of biblical worldview training from Answers in Genesis and Answers Academy experts. Yes, we’re doing all we can to equip the church and parachurch organizations to reach children for Christ!
Whew—there’s a lot going on for families this summer! And, of course, it takes many dedicated staff members to ensure a wonderful experience for our guests. If you’d like to join us this summer in a seasonal staff position, check out our hiring page.
And don’t forget to vote for Ark Encounter as the best kid-friendly attraction in the state.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
