Last month, the Kentucky Science Center—a museum in Louisville, which is not far from us here in Northern Kentucky—hosted a Health & Wellness event for 8–13-year-olds from five local schools. Now, the museum advertises itself as “your premier destination for family fun activities in Louisville.” And apparently “family fun” includes Planned Parenthood!
They decided to allow Planned Parenthood—yes, the very group that has killed (murdered) millions of unborn children—to attend their Heath & Wellness event. And apparently during the event, Planned Parenthood “inadvertently” handed out sexually explicit coloring books, filled with pro–Planned Parenthood propaganda, to a group of elementary students on a field trip.
Initially, Planned Parenthood claimed the whole story was a lie intended to “stir outrage,” but they later admitted that they did distribute the books—it was just “inadvertently.” They’ve since been told they are “no longer welcome” to future events at the science center.
I’m sure parents sending their children on a field trip to a local science museum didn’t anticipate their young children coming home with sexually explicit coloring books from the pro-abortion (pro-child sacrifice), pro-LGBTQ, anti-God Planned Parenthood. How disgusting! But it’s not shocking, considering how sexually perverted that group is.
I am thankful that families have places they can bring their children where they don’t have to worry about what their kids might see or hear—the family-friendly Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.
I am thankful that families have places they can bring their children where they don’t have to worry about what their kids might see or hear—the family-friendly Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. If you’re planning a trip, I encourage you to make plans to visit the two leading Christian themed attractions in the world. Instead of hosting groups that gleefully promote the murder of children, we have a stunning exhibit that celebrates the wonder and sanctity of human life (our Fearfully & Wonderfully Made exhibit). It’s the most powerful such exhibit in the world. Oh, and kids 10 and under visit free!
A great time to visit is on Mondays in April and May during our Family Adventure Days (Memorial Day is not included with the promotion). Families will enjoy special offers and exclusive perks like free tours, free refillable souvenir tumblers for parents, a free treat for every child, and so much more. Tickets for Family Adventure Days must be purchased in advance online and can be found on our website.
Or plan a visit later this summer for 40 Days of Christian Music, the world’s largest Christian music festival, July 29–September 6, 2025. With over 100 concerts, this year’s event will feature artists such as Crowder, Big Daddy Weave, Matthew West, Jordan Feliz, Triumphant, Karen Peck & New River, The Isaacs, and so many more. See a complete schedule on our website. All concerts are included free with your Ark Encounter or Creation Museum admission.
Oh, and come at Christmastime to see the magnificent, stunning lights at both attractions and various wonderful family-friendly programs—and it’s free to attend (except for the cost of parking).
Yes, there’s so much happening at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum—and it’s all family-friendly and God-honoring. We hope you’ll visit soon.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
