Ark Encounter Hits New Record Attendance

God did so much at the ministry of Answers in Genesis throughout 2024, but as we begin a new year, I wanted to highlight just one exciting thing that happened at the tail end of 2024—we set a new attendance record at the Ark Encounter!

On Saturday, December 28, we had over 10,600 guests at the Ark Encounter! Many of those guests came to enjoy ChristmasTime in the evening and hear Karen Peck and New River perform a Christmas concert (we had a packed auditorium with people standing in the lobby to enjoy the music). It was a wonderful concert!

Our resident artists, TrueSong, opened the concert with their fantastic Christmas program, and Ray Flynn from Abraham Productions (the group behind our 40 Days and 40 Nights of Christian Music festival in the summer) gave a gospel challenge—and over 100 people responded! Praise the Lord!

The warm weather after Christmas brought a total of over 40,000 guests to the Ark and Creation Museum on that Thursday–Saturday. It was a busy time!

And there’s still time for you to enjoy Christmas at our attractions. Join us tonight through January 4 for ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum or ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter. Both are amazing family Christmas programs. And attending is free: you just pay a reduced parking fee.

As we look to 2025, our first upcoming event is the return of Logos Theatre to the Ark Encounter to present their stunning The Pilgrim’s Progress stage production. Shows will take place:

• January 3–4, 2025, Friday–Saturday, at 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
• January 9–11 and 16–18, 2025, Thursday–Saturday, at 3:00 p.m.
• January 8 and 15, 2025, Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m.
