It’s nearly the end of the year, and on January 1 many Christians will begin a new daily devotional. There are many such devotionals available, but I wanted to offer something different for families through the AiG ministry. So I put together a book with 365 readings—Ken Ham Daily.
I’ve been asked how long it took to write this 743-page publication. My answer? Fifty years! I took 50 years’ worth of articles I had written, then revised and updated them to make them suitable for a book of daily readings for families.
Now, this resource is truly unique. The 365 readings in this publication address the cultural and spiritual issues of our time, combining apologetics with teaching on a biblical worldview and sound doctrine. It’s like taking the major points from all my talks and books and summarizing them in 365 daily readings.
Each reading equips Christians to defend the faith, be effective witnesses in an increasingly anti-Christian culture, and understand Genesis 1–11 as the foundation for everything.
We could describe it as a daily reading that is:
I envision this resource being used for personal devotions, in classrooms by teachers, for Sunday or Bible school classes, and more. My ultimate hope, however, is that it will be used for family devotions. Each reading offers a wonderful opportunity for fathers to take the lead in disciplining themselves to guide their families in daily teaching. It’s like delivering a mini sermon each day, with all the preparation already done for you.
As I stated above, these daily readings are based on articles I’ve written over my 50 years of active apologetics ministry—with editing help and contributions from others at times. I pray this resource will be a blessing to you and your family.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
