Every year, I like to write a blog post before Christmas, highlighting some “gifts of experience” for those on your gift list. And this year, I’ve got five ideas for you—and all five will not only make lasting memories but will encourage and equip the recipient with truth.

Here are my top five suggestions:

  • Pilgrim’s Progress tickets. This January, Logos Theatre is bringing a fantastic stage production of John Bunyan’s classic tale to the Ark Encounter. Their productions are phenomenal, and tickets make a great gift for anyone on your list. This is a stunning world-class stage production—don’t miss it.
  • Explore Camp registration. Every summer, we host a five-day science camp and a three-day forensic camp at the Creation Museum. These day camps combine hands-on science education with a biblical worldview.
  • High school labs. At the Creation Museum, we also offer hands-on high school labs in chemistry, biology, environmental science, and physical science. These are available throughout the year or as one-week summer intensives. Both are great options for your high school student to enjoy practical, hands-on science instruction; participate in a collaborative lab environment; and apply a biblical worldview.
  • Conference admission. We have several excellent conferences coming up this year, including our first-ever Answers for Men, our popular Answers for Women, our Answers Homeschool Experience, and our Answers for Pastors & Leaders. Each of these conferences includes admission to both the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum and makes a wonderful gift.
  • Explore Excursions: Mount St. Helens. Next year is the 45th anniversary of the eruption of Mount St. Helens. That catastrophe allowed geologists to watch as geologic processes that were thought to take long ages happened in only hours, days, or weeks. In this excursion, you’ll get to explore Mount St. Helens with expert guides, young earth geologists, and believers from across the nation.

As I mentioned, gifts of experience are wonderful because they not only make memories, but all of the gifts I’ve listed above are biblically centered and will make a difference in the life of your child, spouse, or other family member or friend. I encourage you to consider them this year.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
