While living in Australia before moving to America, I didn’t understand why what we call “autumn” in Australia is called “fall” in America. But once we moved to America, and specifically to the state of Kentucky, I understood! During autumn (fall), most of the leaves fall off the trees!
What an amazing reminder of the limitless creativity of our Creator.
Now, during winter, the place seems rather bare, but then in spring as the leaves come back—what a glorious time that is. But fall can be quite beautiful—actually stunning! Although many of the leaves are now off the trees in Northern Kentucky, the fall colors throughout the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter grounds were beautiful. What an amazing reminder of the limitless creativity of our Creator. Enjoy these spectacular photos.
But fall also reminds me of something else—these beautiful fall colors point to the end of the year, which means our wonderful Christmas programs will be starting soon (November 29). Don’t miss the hundreds of thousands of lights, Christmas music, a live nativity, a laser-light show on the side of the Ark Encounter, dramas, and so much more. And ChristmasTime and ChristmasTown are free events—you can come for only the cost of parking.
I strongly encourage you to check out our events calendar for both attractions—we have so many special concerts and dramas taking place this year throughout the Christmas season, many included free and some for an additional cost. One such event is An Irish Christmas featuring the Gettys, their live band, and special guests. It’s going to be an amazing concert! You won’t want to miss this special ticketed event, so save your seat before it sells out.
We hope to see you soon!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
