Same evidence, two interpretations—because of two different worldviews. That’s the main teaching point in our powerful Starting Points room at the Creation Museum. And it just got a stunning new addition of two beautifully sculpted Protoceratops dinosaurs to teach guests about two different views of fossilization.
The Starting Points room already featured two large teaching exhibits: one on biblical kinds vs. the evolutionary tree of life, and the other on humans and apes as separate kinds vs. ape-like creatures and ape-men. Well, this new exhibit adds yet another contrast between two worldviews: rapid fossilization during a global flood vs. slow fossilization after a small, localized catastrophe.
This exhibit powerfully illustrates that the issue isn’t the evidence—creationists and evolutionists both look at exactly the same evidence.
This exhibit powerfully illustrates that the issue isn’t the evidence—creationists and evolutionists both look at exactly the same evidence. But we come to very different conclusions (different interpretations) because we have different starting points—ultimately, man’s word vs. God’s Word. It’s this teaching that sets up everything else we share throughout the museum.
This new exhibit is truly eye-catching. Be sure to check it out during your next visit to the Creation Museum. And if you don’t want to miss out on everything coming, including our plants of the Bible conservatory opening November 29 in time for ChristmasTown and the identity exhibit currently under construction, be sure to get an Ultimate Bouncer Pass so you can visit both the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter as much as you want throughout the year.
Plan your visit at CreationMuseum.org.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
