Latin America, Australia, and the UK—Answers in Genesis was able to impact people from all three of those areas just in the last few weeks! We’re so thankful for the phenomenal international impact this ministry is having. I think you’ll enjoy this update of how the Lord is using this ministry around the world.
Last month, we hosted our annual Día Latino at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This two-day event is specifically for Spanish speakers, featuring teaching sessions either in or translated into Spanish, worship with the Aliento de Vida church worship group, and time to tour both the attractions—with Spanish signage and subtitles and translators scattered throughout the grounds.
Our theme this year was on identity, and all of the teaching sessions were designed to provide answers about what it means to be a man or a woman and to have an identity grounded in Christ.
Next year’s event, October 17–18, 2025, will be themed “The Home as a Fortress” and will be all about the attack on the most fundamental of all human institutions God created: the family. We will be helping families ground their lives on the Rock, our Lord Jesus and his unchanging Word.
This event is a wonderful outreach to the Spanish-speaking community here in the US and in Latin America.
It was so exciting to see nearly 1,500 people in attendance—that’s considered a very large Christian conference for the UK, where church attendance in England is down to less than 4%.
Shortly after we spoke at Día Latino, Martyn Iles and I headed “across the pond” to join Dr. Joel Beeke, Professor Stuart Burgess, Professor Andy McIntosh, Professor Steve Taylor, Dr. Nagy Iskander, Joseph Hubbard, Pastor Pooyan Mehrshahi, and AiG–UK Director Simon Turpin for our Answers UK Mega Conference in Birmingham, England. It was so exciting to see nearly 1,500 people in attendance—that’s considered a very large Christian conference for the UK, where church attendance in England is down to less than 4%.
After the conference, I heard many testimonies from people who were saved as a result of the Lord using the AiG ministry over the years. And it was great to see so many young people and children at the conference. I had a number of children ages 8 to 12 tell me how much they loved my talks! God is raising up generations to stand for him.
After our Birmingham conference, we headed to Belfast, Northern Ireland, for a Living in Babylon event for over 1,500 people, including a group of high school students who traveled two hours to be there. It was such a blessing to meet so many passionate UK believers—they really are living in Babylon over there! The UK has become so hostile to the Christian faith.
As I met people after the conference, I received a lot of wonderful testimonies from people who were impacted by my teaching tours in Northern Ireland as far back as the 80s. I even heard testimonies of the generational impact of those tours.
Down Under, the AiG ministry has begun a special Christmas outreach that’s really an evangelistic initiative. Leading up to Christmas, we are distributing eye-catching copies of the Gospel of Luke to Aussie homes. We’re also recording some short gospel clips for an evangelistic website where those who receive the Gospels will be directed.
Yes, the Lord is using this ministry around the world. Please be in prayer for these outreaches!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
