In August, our grounds teams at the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter began to prepare for our 17th annual ChristmasTown and 9th annual ChristmasTime events. These colossal projects take three to four months of hard work to turn the attractions into two of the most spectacular Christmas light displays in Northern Kentucky. Enjoy some photos of the teams hard at work:
These photos from last year give you an idea of what it will look like when it’s all done—although each year it gets more spectacular!
And not only will you see stunning lights, but there are various concerts, dramas, a laser-light show on the side of the Ark, a live nativity at the Creation Museum, and much more. ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter and ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum are free except for the cost of parking. Beginning the day after Thanksgiving, ChristmasTime and ChristmasTown run from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. November 29, 2024–January 4, 2025, Tuesday through Saturday on select days.
You won’t want to miss these wonderful family Christmas events—please bring your family and friends for a wonderful evening of Christmas joy and the gospel message. Plan your visit at CreationMuseum.org/Christmas and ArkEncounter.com/Christmas.
Oh, and I’ll also mention that we are hiring for our busy Christmas season. If you’re looking for a fun, rewarding, and fulfilling job, I encourage you to come to one of our open interview days. You can find all the details in a previous blog post.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
