If the AiG Ministry Had a “Textbook,” This Would Be It

I first wrote The Lie in 1986, and it was published in 1987. I revised and updated it in 2012. There are now well over 400,000 copies in print with nearly 40 printings. This new edition is a major update. All the illustrations were updated and are now in color. I also added and revised much of the content to make the message even more clear as our understanding of issues has matured over the years.

But the core biblical content has not changed because God’s Word doesn’t change! The culture has changed though, and in this edition I’ve had to include terms like “woke” and also discuss LGBTQ+ issues, etc., as they impact our culture today.

I’ve authored or coauthored 35 books, but The Lie is still my favorite, as it is the classic for the AiG ministry.
