Today marks one more week of the popular 40 Days and 40 Nights of Christian Music festival at the Ark Encounter—it’s flown by, and it’s been an amazing time. Over 150 different artists, many of them award-winning, have performed at the Ark Encounter and (on select days) at the Creation Museum. And look who’s coming this final week.

This week we will welcome:

  • Crowder (tonight)
  • Karen Peck & New River
  • Selah
  • The Isaacs
  • Casting Crowns (for the final evening)
  • And more!

What a week!

And the most exciting aspect is that, as of the publishing of this item, around 1,800 people so far have responded to the gospel. Praise the Lord!

Don’t miss out! Concerts run through September 7 here in Northern Kentucky. And be sure to save the date for next year’s 40/40 festival: July 29–September 6, 2025.

More Music to Come

But there’s more music to come, even after our 40 Days of Christian Music festival ends. This year’s Answers for Pastors and Leaders conference will feature a concert from the gifted hymn-writing duo Keith and Kristyn Getty, who will return to the Ark Encounter again on December 5, 2024, for An Irish Christmas, a time to enjoy their new music and traditional Christmas classics and carols. This event is happening during our free ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter, but the concert itself does require a paid ticket.

And more Christmas music is on its way with the Creation Choir and Orchestra’s True Christmas concert on December 14, 2024. A wonderful, full symphony orchestra combined with a Christmas choir and special vocalists will perform your favorite Christmas classics, all in celebration of Jesus Christ and his birth.

And it’s not just concerts—we also have C. S. Lewis’ The Horse and His Boy, a truly phenomenal play from Logos Theatre (you will be blown away—the quality is stunning, and the story is wonderful) coming live to the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter select days November 12–23, 2024. Then Logos Theatre returns in January with The Pilgrim’s Progress, a live theater production of John Bunyan’s classic tale. You won’t want to miss either play!

And, as happens each year, the students at our Answers Academy will be performing a unique Christmas play, written and produced by our staff. These plays aren’t your “typical” Christmas play. They dig into the historical background and the Old Testament for a unique play experience that presents the gospel. We then offer the scripts for other Christian schools, homeschool groups, or churches to produce themselves. If you’re looking for a Christmas play for your church or school to perform, I encourage you to check out the newest Answers Academy production, Behold the King: Christmas Through the Eyes of Herod’s Servant.

Yes, there’s always so much happening at the world’s leading Christian themed attractions. We hope you can come and visit soon!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
