I wanted to share a huge “thank you” today—a thank you to Kathy, the longest-serving employee of Answers in Genesis (other than the three founders: myself, Mark Looy, and Mike Zovath). Kathy headed up our administration department and recently retired after 30 years of serving the AiG ministry.
To say thank you, we had a special retirement dinner for Kathy with her family, friends, and colleagues last Friday evening.
It’s a reminder that we all grow old and always need to be training up those from the younger generations to be the leaders of the future.

We will miss Kathy, but we also know God has raised up others to take her place—even though it may take six employees to do what she did. When someone has been in an organization for that long, they do have a lot of knowledge and experience.
We pray Kathy will enjoy her retirement, but we also know we will be seeing her often as she will still be a consultant for the ministry.
We are so thankful for Kathy and her three decades of service!
Thank you, Kathy,
Ken
