What’s it like being a Christian astronaut working for NASA? Well, Col. Jeff Williams is just that—a born-again Christian who works for NASA. And with that job, he’s actually traveled to space and seen earth from orbit. Did that change his thoughts about God? Well, I’ll let him tell you.
Our astronomer, Dr. Danny Faulkner, recently sat down with Col. Williams and asked him about what it’s like being a Christian at NASA, what it was like going to space, the origins of the universe, and so much more. Our social media team filmed this interview and then shared it on our Creation Museum YouTube channel (be sure to subscribe to enjoy more content just like this).
Praise the Lord for men and women who love him and his Word—who study creation for God’s glory.
Praise the Lord for men and women who love him and his Word—who study creation for God’s glory. If that sounds like something your child would like to do, I encourage you to check out our Explore programs (one-day, hands-on science programs) and Explore Camps (day camps during the summer) to help them learn about science through the lens of God’s Word as they study for themselves the amazing things that God has made. (These make great Christmas presents!)
Oh, and the two very dedicated Christian astronauts I know say that when looking at the earth from space, you can clearly see that it is a sphere like the moon and like other planets. It is not flat.
