Do Creationists Believe in “Hyper-Evolution”?

Have you ever heard the claim that creationists must believe in “hyper-evolution”? After all, we believe that God sent two of every kind (seven pairs of some) of the land-dwelling, air-breathing animals to Noah to go on the ark. That means Noah didn’t take two wolves, two coyotes, two dingoes, two poodles, and so on—he just took two representatives of the dog kind. So how did all the species come from the original ark kinds in just a few thousand years?

Well, AiG’s Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson, a Harvard-trained geneticist, deals with this objection (and others that skeptics raise) head-on in this hour-long YouTube video featured on our Ark Encounter channel. (Spoiler alert: we don’t believe in “hyper-evolution” and the biblical timescale actually explains exactly what we see in the world!) I encourage you to watch and share with others.

Yes, science confirms the Bible—from the very first verse!

Oh, and remember—dogs remain dogs, cats remain cats, elephants remain elephants! But you all know that.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
