I’ve recently returned to the USA after being in Australia for nearly three weeks. While I was there, we thoroughly enjoyed our favorite Aussie foods, and I thought I would share some of them with you so you can see what you’re missing if you’re here in the United States! Then, after these photos, I’ll update you on how my Australia trip went and what’s coming for AiG–Australia.

Here are the foods I will miss now that we’re back in the US!

Okay, now that I’ve made you all jealous of how great Australia is, it’s time for a ministry update. It was wonderful to see a packed crowd for the AiG Overcomers Conference with Martyn Iles, Dr. Georgia Purdom, and myself at Redcliffe (north of Brisbane) in Australia. People were so enthusiastic to see the relaunch of the Answers in Genesis ministry and hear the plans of all that’s coming to impact Australia.

Australians can keep up to date by signing up for the email newsletter Martyn Iles will be writing regularly at GetAnswers.org/emailau.

There was a big hunger for all the resources too. We were able to make available many of the best creation-apologetics books in the world that have not been readily available in Australia until now. Praise the Lord!

Australians can now order most of our books direct from our Australian office at Store.AnswersInGenesis.com.au.

I also had the awesome privilege to speak at the Christian Education Ministries National Conference on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Around 550 educators from all across Australia gathered on the Gold Coast for this annual conference. I have a real burden for Christian education, so I was thrilled to receive the invitation to speak to this group.

We praise the Lord for all the opportunities.

Just like at Overcomers, AiG provided a large range of resources to equip teachers and educators. I’m excited to announce that AiG has many open doors to begin impacting the church and Christian schools in Australia like never before! We praise the Lord for all the opportunities.

Experiencing the hunger for the Answers in Genesis ministry at the various conferences Martyn Iles and I spoke at—and hearing the phenomenal feedback from those attending—burdened me to ensure we really do build back the AiG ministry in Australia, which has been almost in limbo for some time.

The ministry began in our house in Australia in 1977 and became the AiG ministry that is now headquartered in the USA with the two leading Christian themed attractions in the world—the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. But we’re excited that AiG will have a presence in Australia again!

As we ramp up the AiG ministry in Australia, we have upgraded the AiG–Australia website and will be sending out regular email newsletters (largely written by Martyn Iles) and information on how to obtain the latest resources direct from the Australian AiG. We are already organizing some major conferences for early 2024 and are working on phenomenal opportunities for Australian young people.

Sign up for our emails to receive all the latest information and updates so you can follow the ministry and pray for us. Expect to see great things coming from AiG in Australia in the future—the best is yet to come!

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
