Which Is Your Family On—the Broad Way or the Narrow Way?

Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. (Matthew 7:13–14)

The forces pulling against those on the narrow way are enormous, and it will take a lot of hard work and diligence to keep pulling along the narrow way—and to bring along the younger generations (your children, grandkids, and other children God has placed in your sphere of influence).

Christians need to be even more vigilant and diligent to do all we can to bring our families along on the narrow way, praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) to enable us to do it.

The forces on the broad way seem to strengthen every day. I would challenge you now to stop and consider: How is your family journey going, Dad and Mom? What road are you on? How hard are you working and how much are you praying so you and your family can be traveling on the narrow road?

Remember, there is only one way—one narrow road.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

Not many are on the narrow way, but please do all you can to bring your family along on this most vital road ever!
