Not only will visitors have a wonderful time and make lasting memories, but, more importantly, they’ll encounter the truth of God’s Word and the gospel.

Thank you to everyone who voted for either (or both) attractions! We’re very excited to have placed #1 and #2 yet again (the Ark placed #1 and the museum #2 in 2020 as well). We hope these top designations will encourage even more people to come to Northern Kentucky to visit the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Not only will visitors have a wonderful time and make lasting memories, but, more importantly, they’ll encounter the truth of God’s Word and the gospel. That’s the message everyone needs to hear, and that’s why we want as many individuals and families as possible to visit these high-quality Christian themed attractions.

So why were the Ark and the Creation Museum the favorites? Well, maybe it’s because of:

• Our world-class exhibits,
• Our phenomenal family playgrounds,
• Our zoo animals and botanical gardens,
• Our free hands-on programs, concerts, and presentations,
• Our unique carousel (rides are free with Ark admission!),
• Our state-of-the-art planetarium and 4D Special Effects Theater,
• All the dinosaur models,
• The ziplines,
• The tremendous, helpful staff that make the experience even better,
• Or because our attractions are family friendly, wholesome places.

It could be any of those! Or perhaps it’s due to the reasons these attractions exist—because the message of the truth of God’s Word, biblical authority, and the gospel of Jesus Christ are boldly, clearly, and powerfully proclaimed through everything we do. That is our focus—it always has been and always will be! Ultimately, I believe it’s this stand and the encouraging, equipping teaching that makes so many believers choose the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum as the best “religious museums” in the nation. (By the way, that designation is a bit of a misnomer—even “secular” museums are religious, as everyone has a religion. There is no neutrality!).

If you think the Ark Encounter or Creation Museum is the best museum in all of Kentucky, we need your help! We need you to vote again in the widely read Kentucky Living magazine’s “Best in Kentucky” contest. Voting is apparently open to non-Kentucky residents, so no matter where you live in the US, please take a moment to vote (voting continues through February 28, and it’s only one vote per person). Once the top three museums are determined, they will enter phase two of the contest—more voting in May—to see which of the three is #1. Winners will be announced August 16.

So here’s how to vote: go to this website, enter your name and address, etc., then scroll down to the heading labeled “destination.” Under the “museum” category, type in either the Ark Encounter or Creation Museum. Then hit "Submit." That's it!
