What’s one of my favorite places to visit in our local area? Well, the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum are at the very top of my list, of course! But also on our list, my wife Mally and I enjoy the National Museum of the USAF in Dayton, Ohio (about 1.25 hours north of the Creation Museum). It’s a great place to set aside some time aside to visit when you’re in the area visiting the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.
Entrance is free, and it's a wonderful place to spend a day with the family (and a great place to visit in the winter as it’ indoors).
The National Museum of the USAF is the largest military aviation museum in the world. It is set up like a history book going through the history of flight and featuring the Wright brothers’ inventions, then World War I, World War II, and the space age. The museum exhibits hundreds of planes and other aviation equipment—it’s huge and very fascinating! Entrance is free. This aviation museum is a wonderful place to spend a day with the family (and a great place to visit in the winter as it’s indoors).
So make Northern Kentucky your tourist destination, and spend at least three days at the Ark and Creation Museum with our 3-Day Bouncer Pass (remember: children 10 and under are free at both the museum and the Ark) and a day in Ohio at the National Museum of the USAF. Great educational experiences await you when you visit Northern Kentucky and southwest Ohio!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
