This year marks 10 years of our popular Día Latino event! Each year we host an outreach to the Spanish-speaking community with an event at both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in northern Kentucky. This year’s event is October 15 at the Ark Encounter and October 16 at the Creation Museum and it’s packed full of special events, including a pre-conference, in honor of 10 years of outreach.

During Día Latino, Spanish signage and captions will be available at both attractions, along with Spanish interpreters, so Spanish-speakers can hear the truth from God’s Word and the gospel in their first language.

During Día Latino, Spanish signage and captions will be available at both attractions, along with Spanish interpreters, so Spanish-speakers can hear the truth from God’s Word and the gospel in their first language, which is vital to reaching people in a meaningful way. Speakers this year include Joe Owen, the director of AiG-Latin America, Pastor Otto Sánchez, and me (translated into Spanish, of course).

At the Ark Encounter, guests will tour the full-size Noah’s Ark (with three decks of stunning teaching exhibits), meet animals in Ararat Ridge Zoo, and have their children play on our state-of-the-art playground. And we’re excited that our guests will also enjoy a special worship concert featuring talented musicians from what’s called IBO.

The following day, Sunday, October 16, is Día Latino at the Creation Museum 45 minutes away, which begins with a Spanish worship service in our newly renovated state-of-the-art Legacy Hall auditorium. Guests then tour the Creation Museum’s “walk through” biblical history, plus our fantastic Dinosaur Den, insectarium, our Fearfully and Wonderfully Made pro-life exhibit, Borderland: Israel at the Time of Jesus exhibit, high-tech 4D Special Effects Theater, our Stargazer Planetarium (additional ticket required), and more.

Outside, you can have a high-flying adventure on the Screaming Raptor Zip Lines (additional ticket purchase required), meet the animals in the Eden Zoo, join the children on our playground for children of all abilities, and stroll through the gorgeous botanical gardens, featuring waterfalls, a suspension bridge, and more. Spanish translators will be available throughout the grounds to assist you all day.

And don’t miss the pre-conference event, October 14 from 6–8 p.m. at the Creation Museum. Guests will discover biblical answers to an issue sweeping through both America and Latin America right now: abortion. It’s going to be a wonderful celebration of the sanctity of every human life and it will equip and encourage you. Don’t miss this free conference! It’s open for anyone to attend and will be presented in Spanish.
