It’s just under one month until we celebrate Easter, specifically remembering the death and resurrection of Christ from the grave. It’s both a sobering and a celebratory time for Christians but, sadly, the world has twisted this remembrance into something very different. Help focus your family on the true meaning of Easter with three resources from Answers in Genesis that proclaim the truth of God’s Word and the saving gospel.
- Free Easter chapters from The 10-Minute Bible Journey. This book is an excellent resource by Dale Mason of our staff. It gives you the big picture of Scripture, in chronological order, in 52 short reads. It’s a wonderful resource for families as a devotional, and you can start with these free Easter chapters. The digital download pack includes the audiobook, ebook chapters, and coloring sheets for the kids. You can also find the full audiobook and book on our online store.
- Free Answers Bible Curriculum Easter Lessons. Answers Bible Curriculum is our four-year, through-the-Bible Sunday school curriculum (we also have a homeschool version), and we’re offering free Easter lessons for Pre-K through Adult from ABC. These free downloads feature everything you need to teach your children or your Sunday school class this Easter, including the teacher guide, posters, games, crafts, take-home sheets, and more.
- Easter Living History event. On April 15–17 (Easter weekend), Creation Museum guests will enjoy a “living history” event. Reenactors in accurately recreated costumes will provide details on the historical background of Easter and Passover with three special displays: an auxiliary military camp, a money changers table, and a baker’s shop. Guests will enjoy interacting with the reenactors and learning more about Passover in first-century Israel—it will be a very unique experience! “Easter Living History” is included with Creation Museum admission.
We hope these resources help you and your family to focus on Christ and the incredible gift of salvation that he has given to us through his death and resurrection.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Peter 1:3)
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
