Spring is a busy time at the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in northern Kentucky. In just a few weeks, we welcome nearly 2,000 women for our Answers for Women conference. Next is our annual Deaf Days event, and then our sold-out homeschool experience—and that’s in addition to welcoming welcoming our usual spring guests and bus tours! It’s an exciting time, and we are thrilled to see so many families and individuals being impacted by the message of the truth of God’s Word and the gospel.

Today I wanted to highlight Deaf Days, our annual outreach to the Deaf community. On Saturday, April 30, 2022, Deaf Days comes to the Creation Museum, in partnership with Deaf Missions. Guests will explore the Creation Museum, including the walk through biblical history, multiple theaters, planetarium, gorgeous gardens and grounds, the Eden Animal Experience, and the playground. Theaters and videos will be ASL-interpreted or close-captioned. We will also feature a live, Deaf-led presentation, “Timeline of the Bible in History,” as well as ASL-interpreted daily live programming.

This two-day event is a wonderful opportunity for Deaf guests to experience the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, be equipped in their faith, and consider the gospel message, perhaps for the first time.

The following day, Sunday, May 1, 2022, guests will experience the three decks of the life-size Noah’s Ark, walk the beautiful grounds, see animals and presentations in the Ararat Ridge Zoo, bring the children to the wonderful playground, and more. As at the museum, theaters and presentations will be ASL-interpreted and closed-captioned. There will also be a time of fellowship with other event attendees Sunday morning before a Deaf-led worship service and a Bible drama in the afternoon.

This two-day event is a wonderful opportunity for Deaf guests to experience the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, be equipped in their faith, and consider the gospel message, perhaps for the first time. If you are part of the Deaf community, I encourage you to make plans to attend and invite others to come with you. It’s always a fantastic weekend!

You can register to enjoy a special combo ticket price and preorder a custom Deaf Days T-shirt at a discount when you visit our event page.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
