Our staff has been working towards this special day for months—and they’re very excited (and so are many of our guests!). What do I mean? Well, tomorrow, August 2, 2021, is the beginning of an event that could only happen at the Ark: 40 Days and 40 Nights of Gospel Music! About 100 different groups and artists (many are award winning) will be participating.

This forty day event will be the world’s largest gospel music festival—and it’s all happening at the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY, south of Cincinnati. Thousands of guests will be arriving to enjoy these concerts, as well as touring the life-size Noah’s Ark (with three stunning decks of exhibits), exploring the grounds and Ararat Ridge Zoo, and playing with their kids and grandkids on our state-of-the-art playground.

Tomorrow begins the event with The Hoppers and Soul’d Out performing, and Bill Bailey speaking twice that day. The rest of the first week will feature well-known performers like Legacy Five, Ivan Parker, The Whisnants, The Mylon Hayes Family, Triumphant, The Williamsons, Karen Peck & New River, Carolina, Jeff & Sheri Easter, Emily Ann Roberts, NewSong, and Endless Highway. As you can see—many of the biggest names in Gospel music are performing at this huge event. Speakers that first week include Dr. Johnny Hunt, Ray Flynn, Dr. Neal Jackson, and myself. Each day one of our AiG speakers will also be speaking.

Each day’s concert and speaking are included with regular Ark Encounter admission—and an annual combo pass allows you to enjoy multiple concerts (or even all of them!) plus free parking. The Ark Encounter is a busy and exciting place—I encourage you to purchase an annual combo pass for you and your family for this event and the next twelve months. (Your pass also includes unlimited visits (including parking) for a year to the Ark and Creation Museum, 45-minutes away.)

We’re expecting many of these concerts to completely fill our 2,500-seat auditorium (the Answers Center), so be sure to arrive early to ensure a seat as it will be first come, first served.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
