The Ark Encounter is going red, white, and bluegrass for America’s July 4 celebration! We’re excited to welcome BJUgrass, Bob Jones University’s bluegrass band, to the Answers Center at the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky, July 4 for a free Independence Day concert event (including free parking after 4 p.m. at the Ark Encounter on July 4 if coming for the 6 p.m. concert event only), as well as performances during daily programing on July 3 and 5, 2021 (which is included with your Ark admission ticket).
Bring the whole family to the Answers Center for the 6 p.m. concert on July 4 or make a day of it and tour the Ark Encounter for the afternoon before relaxing and tapping your toes to some bluegrass. The concert is one hour (6-7 p.m.), so you’ll still have plenty of time to head out and find some fireworks displays in our local area after praising the Lord with BJUgrass (the only bluegrass group consisting of one university president and five students!).
If you’re visiting on July 3 or 5, you can enjoy a shorter concert from BJUgrass during our daily programming in the Ark’s Answers Center, as well as hear from me (July 3) during my family program, “Dinosaurs and More,” or AiG speaker Avery Foley (July 5) on the biblical answer to racism.
As you plan your visit, remember the July 4 concert event is free—including free parking (if coming to that event only).
As you plan your visit, remember the July 4 concert event is free—including free parking (if coming to that event only)—and, if you want to visit the Ark Encounter attraction as a family beforehand, all children 10 and under enjoy free admission (good through 2021) and all former and active duty military enjoy free admission to both the Ark and Creation Museum on July 4, 2021.
