Enjoy festive lights throughout the grounds and zoo, and the Ark will be lit up in rainbow lights.
ChristmasTime runs November 29 through December 30, closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. You’ll enjoy festive lights throughout the grounds and zoo, and the Ark will be lit up in rainbow lights. And, if you get chilly, head inside our new state-of-the-art 2,500-seat auditorium to sing along to traditional Christmas carols with resident artists Steve Hess & Southern Salvation.
Then watch our incredible show, “Encounter the Wonder,” shown on our massive LED screen inside the Answers Center. This program captures the wonder of Christmas by beginning in Genesis and tracing Christ through the early pages of the Bible, to his birth, life, death, and resurrection. It’s a wonderful gospel presentation that’s sure to move you!
Add to the experience with our delicious buffet, shopping for Christmas gifts at our huge fair-trade market, and touring the inside of the life-size Noah’s Ark, with a special discount admission price after 5 p.m. Don’t miss this incredible celebration of the Savior’s incarnation! South of Cincinnati at exit 154 off I-75.
Discover all the event details—including an exciting offer of a buffet meal, plus entrance to the Ark exhibits at a discount—at ArkEncounter.com.
A Second Free Christmas Event—ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum
And don’t miss our other spectacular Christmas event—ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum, west of the Cincinnati Airport. Enjoy a breathtaking garden of lights (the best in the tri-state), including two new steel dinosaur sculptures lit up with festive lights, live nativity, petting zoo, children’s adventure area, concerts (select days), and so much more! And all of this is free! (You only pay a nominal parking fee.)
Your family can be among the first to see our brand-new exhibits.
We’re also offering discounted admission to the Creation Museum walk-through after 5 p.m. during ChristmasTown (which includes unlimited hot chocolate!), so you and your family can be among the first to see our brand-new exhibits, opening just in time for our Christmas activities. These exhibits will powerfully point to biblical authority and the foundational nature of the book of Genesis while answering the skeptical questions of our day.
Discover all the event details, and see a full schedule of concerts and performers, at CreationMuseum.org.
Don’t Miss These Other Christmas Events
Christmas is certainly an extra-special time around here! It seems every year we have even more exciting events to tell you about. In addition to ChristmasTime and ChristmasTown, here are some other special Christmas events you won’t want to miss:
- Christmas Truths for Families. Discover Christmas, beginning in Genesis, as you explore the true history of the world and the fulfillment of the promise God made to Eve in this special family workshop. You’ll go through Old Testament history and clearly see Christ from beginning to end. This event is free (with $5 parking*) as part of ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum experience and is taking place from December 3 to 6, starting at 5 p.m. Visit our website for all the details.
- Twelve Stones Christian Academy Christmas Event on December 6. The students from our Christian school, Twelve Stones, are putting on a special Christmas production, “Long Foretold,” at the Creation Museum on December 6, at 7 p.m. It’s a unique look at the wise men and their journey to worship Jesus. “Long Foretold” will answer your questions about the wise men, such as were they at the manger scene? Why did they follow the star? Why were their gifts significant? And more! This event is free ($10 for parking*).
- Promise: A Christmas Drama on December 7. This drama and musical event at the Ark’s Answers Center features a choir, orchestra, and cast of actors coming together from God’s Bible School & College, as well as Aldersgate Christian Academy, to trace the promise of the Messiah from Eden through the manger and to the cross. It will be a beautiful celebration of God’s unfailing plan of redemption and the hope we have because of Christ. This free event ($10 for parking*) is December 7, beginning with a prelude at 4:30 p.m. Find all the event details on our website.
