I frequently share news about the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum on my blog, social media platforms, and when I am speaking around the country and abroad. We want people from all over the world to visit the two leading Christian themed attractions in the world and be equipped and encouraged by the message of biblical authority and the gospel. So maybe you’ve heard about both attractions before, and you’re wanting to visit us in Northern Kentucky, but you still have a few planning questions. Well, here are answers to the most common questions I get asked by individuals and families planning their visit.

  1. How long should we spend?

One of the most asked questions I’ve received is, “How long should we spend at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum?”

Because there is so much to do at each attraction, we have introduced an additional free option for you (does not include parking). Paid ticket holders to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum may request a free “Explore More” pass to the attraction they visited. This enables them to return and explore the many features most guests cannot do in just one day (e.g., zoo, gardens, lectures, playgrounds, restaurants, gift stores, etc.). The “Explore More” day excludes walking through the exhibits, which you would do during your first visit. Find out all the details about this generous option at ArkEncounter.com/tickets or CreationMuseum.org/tickets.

  2. What is the best ticket option?

I would encourage everyone to consider the Annual Pass option. It’s a wonderful opportunity for large families, as well as anyone who would like to spend more than two days at each attraction—or return more than once in a year. This option allows unlimited visits to both attractions for a year, includes parking, and also free admission to one major ticketed Answers conference held at either attraction. This gives everyone great flexibility and is generously priced.

  3. What else is there to do in the area?

There are many other attractions in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area (it was ranked in the top 10 best places for a summer vacation in the US!). But one nearby attraction I single out and highly recommend to every family is the National Museum of the United States Air Force near Dayton, Ohio. Our family loves to visit this unique attraction.

It is the biggest such museum in the world and entrance is free. The four massive hangers contain many well-known planes, including the one that dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki. The museum is like a giant history lesson, beginning with displays on the Wright brothers, and then World War I, World War II, the Space Age, and much more. You can also visit the display of presidential planes.

This attraction is located 1 1/4 hours from the Creation Museum, and about 1 1/2 hours from the Ark Encounter. Find out all the details at NationalMuseum.af.mil.

As the two leading Christian themed attractions in the world, the Ark and Museum have so much to offer. Take the time to enjoy all they have in store for your family. Make Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati your vacation destination.

Our attractions websites contain all the information you need regarding ticketing, accommodations, group visits, sleepovers, and more. Check out the daily calendars to see what presentations, workshops, movies, concerts, or animal programs are being offered on the dates you are visiting. (Keep in mind, though, these are always subject to change without notice.)

We hope to see you soon! Learn more at ArkEncounter.com/events and CreationMuseum.org/events.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
