Scripture urges us to hide God’s Word in our hearts (Psalm 119:11) and to teach it diligently to our children (Deuteronomy 6:7). One great way to teach Scripture to our children is through memory verse music. The catchy tunes and hand actions help children remember the words of life found in Scripture. That’s why we include Scripture memory music in our Answers Bible Curriculum and Vacation Bible School programs.
This music is provided by Seeds Family Worship, a wonderful ministry dedicated to teaching young children and adults God’s Word through fun songs. And they’re going on tour! You can enjoy their Trust Jesus Tour throughout the summer in cities such as Fort Worth, Texas, Twin Falls, Idaho, Buffalo, Minnesota, and many others.
This tour, sponsored by Answers in Genesis, is sure to be an encouraging, uplifting time of singing God’s Word as a family. I encourage parents and grandparents to make plans to take their children to one of their presentations for an evening of worship.
And remember such songs help us to do what God’s Word instructs:
I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. (Psalm 119:11)
