Memorial Day weekend kicks off our summer crowds, and our busy season, each year. And this Memorial Day weekend was no exception. We had a great long weekend with tens of thousands of visitors flocking into both the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky. We thought the best way for you to share the excitement is to see just some of the photos we took over the weekend.
The Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum are the leading Christian-themed attractions in the world and have made Northern Kentucky the greatest faith-based tourist destination in the United States. People are flocking in from across the United States and the world. And, of course, we’re continuing to expand on and upgrade both attractions.
In early June, our state-of-the-art playground, accessible for children of all abilities, will open at the Ark (it is similar to the one we opened at the Creation Museum last fall, but larger). This playground will be one of the nicest and biggest of its kind in our tri-state area of Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.
We’re also expanding the Ararat Ridge Zoo and progressively opening new additions over the summer and fall. Soon you’ll be able to walk with kangaroos and emus and see sloths, lemurs, African tortoise, ostriches, bald eagles, and more. A new animal actors’ stage will allow our zookeepers to teach about creation and biblical “kinds.” It will help families learn about animals from a biblical worldview perspective, and not the evolutionary one presented at most zoos. Kids, families, and individuals of all ages will love it!
Plan your visit today at ArkEncounter.com and CreationMuseum.org. We are in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
