Ken Ham Returning to Australia to Speak, September 9, 2018

I’ve been saddened to read articles over the past number of months from Australian news sites reporting on radical changes taking place in that nation, largely due to the increased pushing of the LGBT agenda. Christians are being punished for holding to biblical views on marriage and gender, and even young children are being indoctrinated with an LGBT agenda. As with the rest of the West, Australia is headed for moral and spiritual chaos as the secular, humanistic religion takes hold of that nation. It’s a very small percentage of the population that is controlling the entire culture and forcibly trying to impose their anti-God worldview on people.

In response, we’re ramping up our Australian ministry—and I’m also coming to Australia very soon for two speaking events on Sunday, September 9, 2018. My first event is Sunday morning in North Buderim, Queensland, followed by an evening session the same day in Holland Park West, Queensland.

If man makes the rules, then why not redefine marriage, family, and gender?

Our prayer is that these free events will equip believers to stand on the authority of God’s Word from the very beginning. We want even more Christians to recognize the importance of allowing Scripture to be the authority in all areas—including history and science. You see, the moral and societal decline we’re seeing across the West is a direct result of man making himself the authority, instead of seeing God’s Word as the authority in all areas. If man makes the rules, then why not redefine marriage, family, and gender? Why not allow anyone to live anyway they please?

But we are not the ultimate authority—God and his Word are, and we need to allow his Word to shape our thinking and boldly share its truth with our dying culture.
