Why Did We Build Noah’s Ark?

The Ark, located south of Cincinnati, is a massive testimony to the truth of God’s Word. And if we can trust the history in God’s Word, we can also trust the gospel message we read there. We take this message seriously and want others to as well. That’s why we ensured everything we did at the Ark was of the highest quality, from the exhibits, to the food, to the growing zoo behind the Ark, to the structure itself.

It was very exciting watching the Ark and the exhibits come together. Nothing quite like this has ever been done before, so it took lots of creativity, imagination, and vision from a wide variety of people to complete the ship and create its first-rate displays and films. In fact, we filmed quite a bit of the process so that others could experience the excitement of watching everything come together. These videos were released on two DVDs, The Building of the Ark Encounter, and Building the Ark Encounter Exhibits.
