Are you planning a trip to the world-class Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum Christian themed attractions this summer? Want to add something extra to your family getaway? Well, in addition to the many different workshops and presentations offered each day, we have several fun family events coming to the Creation Museum in the summer here in Northern Kentucky. We’d love for you to join us!
This fun evening, taking place July 6, 2018, is designed to provide the whole family with a time of food and fellowship together. You’ll chow down on family favorites for dinner and enjoy some light-hearted competition by playing various games that will be set up throughout Legacy Hall. Then relax, tap your toes, and laugh with my good friend Buddy Davis who will be sharing some stories, playing various instruments, and singing. Buddy has released over a dozen CDs, and two of his DVDs in the Amazing Adventures series for children have won awards. You’ll also enjoy laughing with John and Ynita (pronounced Juanita, by the way) Swomley of JandY Ministry as they present a time of comedy and biblical truth.
Register soon on the Creation Museum website to ensure your family’s spot.
Looking for a hands-on activity to keep kids’ hands, hearts, and minds busy? Sign them up for Explore Summer Camp. During this five-day camp, students in fourth grade through high school will participate in 20 hands-on science workshops, all presented with a distinctly biblical worldview. Also included is one overnight here in the Creation Museum after an afternoon and evening of astronomy exploration with AiG’s Dr. Danny Faulkner in our world-class observatory.
Spots are filling up quickly, and registration for our June camp is already closed, so register today for Explore Summer Camp, July 23–27, 2018.
Do you have a young person who is academically inclined or naturally curious? Camp Infinity (Ci) is perfect for them. We’re thrilled to partner with Ci for their summer STEM camps. Campers will enjoy hands-on STEM activities, including robotics, and teaching from various AiG scientists and researchers. Each camp takes place here at the Creation Museum, with overnight camps also touring the nearby Ark Encounter and a local secular science museum to see the clash of worldviews. Ci even has a Family Camp so parents and all the kids can enjoy exploring STEM and a biblical worldview together.
